This website is intended to capture my present and future memories.  I have spent the first 50 years of my life acquiring information about my family, history and the Basques.  I have had the opportunity to write a variety of items regarding these subjects as well as to collect various resources over the years.  I am taking advantage of today’s technology to place this information on a website in order to share these documents with those who wish to visit.
 
Throughout my life, I have always been interested in my family and at various times have constructed family trees.  In 2008, I began seriously documenting our family’s genealogy which led me to placing the Gariador/Satterfield family tree on a web based genealogical database.  So in addition to the traditional family tree, I am able to supplement that data with photos, documents and histories to bring to life members of our family both past & present.  You can find our genealogy database at www.gariador.com/genealogy
